Borough Market, London

Borough Market, London

If you are a foodie in London, Borough Market has to be top of your to do list. In the shadow of the Shard, there are hundreds of food stalls, and small shops, cafes and restaurants, tucked under the arches. The assortments of food is varied and of a high quality. It’s always a challenge to decide what to have, with a temptation of aromas. We recommend eating little and often and sharing. We managed to eat our way through a lot. Starting with a succulent, melt in your mouth, flavoursome pulled pork burger from Hobbs.

It’s completely overwhelming. The assortments of fruits and cheeses are tempting too. We tucked into a great, authentic tasting pad thai, sprinkled with peanuts and topped with lime and chilli. If that wasn’t enough the Rabot 1745 was irresistible. Having visited the Rabot Estate cocoa plantation in St Lucia how could we resist. With melted chocolate being churned the aroma is enticing. The creamy ice cream was sensational.

Borough Market is not to be missed if in London. It has a great buzz and you will leave feeling rather satisfied.
