The Jumeirah properties in Dubai are absolutely phenomenal and are what keep us going back to Dubai regularly. They are opulent, and luxurious. Nothing can compare. The Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is nestled on The Palm and is a stunning five star hotel that captures what Dubai is all about. It’s sheer Ottoman grandeur from the moment you enter. There’s an abundance of fresh floral displays, and the chandeliers are breath taking.
The rooms are beautifully appointed and overlook the Dubai Marina in the near distance.
The beds are so comfortable, one can guarantee the best night’s sleep here. It’s the attention to detail and the nightly chocolate on the pillows that make us smile.
The white marble bathroom is sophisticated and stylish with delightful Penhalligons amenities. As well as the rain shower, is an amazing bath. Where do we start with the bath? It’s unbelievable. It’s absolutely huge. It does take a while to fill but it’s well worth it.
The Jumeriah Zabeel Saray has some amazing restaurants including the Imperium. It is the most beautiful ballroom that serves food all day. The breakfast spread can seem overwhelming but it caters for everyone. There’s a vast selection of fruits, breads and eggs, crepes, waffles made to order. They literally have every cuisine thinkable from Indian, Chinese and the mandatory Full English. And the brunches here are well worth visiting for.
Over Easter the displays were absolutely magnificent. There are plenty of irresistible chocolate eggs too.
The beach at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is man made and as it overlooks the inner part of The Palm it is usually very calm and can be still at times. The palm tree lined infinity pool is great for an afternoon in the sweltering heat.
Every day the staff come around with much needed, complementary ice lollies. The lemon ones are just so refreshing.
Where the Zabeel Saray is located, the sun sets to the side and the beach gets cool in the early afternoon in the cooler months. This is the perfect excuse to visit the spectacular Talise spa. It’s one of the most dreamy spas in the world. The aroma of lemongrass diffuses throughout. Facilities include sauna, steam room, Jacuzzis, pools and even a chilly snow room. It’s ideal for a really relaxing afternoon.
It’s easy to sit back in Sultan’s Lounge, overlooking the pool, and sip on mojitos and have a delicious tandoori wrap.
Al Nafoorah is the Lebanese restaurant that is great for a meze. The carvings are intricate and beautiful, and it’s a really romantic restaurant. The food is delicious, service impeccable and it’s ideal for a celebration.
