Dewsall Court was was built in 1642 as a granary and the church within the grounds dates back to before the Doomsday. The notorious Duke of Chandos is known to have been born at Dewsall, and Guy’s Hospital owned the estate for many hundreds of years. The Robinson family bought the derelict house in 1989 and spent a decade restoring it from an uninhabitable house into a lovely family home, and now the exclusive use venue it is today.
Dewsall Court completed a £550,000 Wainhouse Barn transformation; creating a stunning new space to host exclusive use parties. Glass walls have been installed to allow celebrations to take place all year round; the walls can also concertina to open onto the beautiful 15 acres of gardens. Parties can also take place late into the evening, with the installation of the new fully soundproof dance floor.
The New Wainhouse Barn can now accommodate 200 guests in theatre style and 175 for a dinner. Dewsall Court makes an enchanting and secluded setting for beautiful, bespoke weddings for up to 220 guests. Every couple will have their own dedicated wedding planner to assist with all the preparations from start to finish. Friends and family can take over the entire house and grounds for entire weekends and completely make it their own. There are ten en-suite bedrooms that sleep up to 23.
